Stobbarts Ltd were required to carry out works at several schools over the summer holidays on behalf of Cumbria County Council. This required work to be undertaken at different sites across Cumbria , including at Orgill School in Egremont, Askam School in Askam-in-Furness, St. Joseph’s School in Workington and Moor Row. The work was as varied as the locations, with new heating systems being fitted, replacement suspended ceilings and the refurbishment of multiple classrooms.
As with all school works, a deadline was set for work to be complete before the students returned from their holidays at the start of September. Stobbarts Ltd met this deadline, ensuring both the safety of the students, with no work being carried out during term time, and providing them with improved facilities in which to learn on their return.
